My name is Philip! I started playing music when I was 6 years old, and I have been doing it ever since. I graduated from music school and college as a professional pianist, but then I realised that I didn't want to be a performer — I wanted to be a creator. So, after receiving a bachelor's degree in sound engineering, I began to develop myself as a music producer. Today, I have more than 12 years of experience in writing music, 10 years as a DJ in clubs and at events, and 9 years as a sound designer. When I'm not working, I like to ride my bike and go on long walks. I really love spicy Asian food and have a passion for all kinds of technical gadgets.

Career

I began my conscious career in 2004. At that time, it was the most interesting thing in my life — I eagerly explored new areas for myself: arranging, mixing, DJing. And to this day, I continue to improve my skills in these areas every day. Over the years, I have been a resident DJ at major clubs in Kyiv and collaborated with many large agencies. I also managed to work as a sound engineer for various companies that developed games, applications, advertising, radio broadcasting, etc. During this period, I managed to produce more than 40 songs for various Ukrainian and foreign artists and more than 100 tracks for myself and on commission.

Present

I recently moved to Manchester and hope to become part of the local music community. I want to continue creating and contributing to UK culture. That's why I'm here with you now, having created my show ‘Music Kitchen’ to introduce you to the latest music releases in the world of electronic music.
