Although Daz In The Hat Radio plays a wide variety of music, most of our presenters are passionate about supporting unsigned artists. Whether you have a brand-new release or looking to reach a larger audience, feel free to send in your songs / albums. Before submitting any music please read the guidance below.
Music Submission
Daz In The Hat Radio is committed to promoting a diverse range of music, with a particular emphasis on supporting unsigned artists. We welcome submissions from artists seeking to share new releases or expand their audience. To ensure a smooth submission process, please adhere to the guidelines outlined below.
Submission Requirements:
Prior to submitting, listen to our shows to confirm your music aligns with the program’s genre. For example, Hat Tracks and Artist In The Spotlight exclusively feature original songs.
All submissions must be in MP3 or WAV format. Links to streaming services will not be accepted.
Ensure tracks are correctly labelled as “Artist Name - Song Title.” For album submissions, include accompanying artwork.
Provide the following information with each submission:
Specify whether the song is an original or a cover, including the songwriter’s name (if known). Include the release date.
Provide an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) in PDF format only. Please see video on how to do this.
Include social media handles for tagging when tracks are played.
Indicate where your media can be purchased and the release date.
While our station embraces eclectic tastes, we do not accept submissions in the following genres: Rap, Hip Hop, Electronic, Modern R&B, Religious/Gospel, or music containing profanity or promoting hate.
Additional Notes:
All presenters reserve the right to decline submissions. While Hat Tracks and Artist In The Spotlight focus on original music, covers may be played on Gig Guide and Jukebox.
Due to the high volume of submissions, individual responses may not be possible. However, artists will be tagged on social media when their track is featured in a show.
Submission does not guarantee airplay, as all programming decisions are at the discretion of our individual presenters.
